It is definitely winter and it is cold in Minnesota! That does not mean we cannot go outside and enjoy Winter to the fullest! The cool thing about the 365 blog, we try to give you the cool (literally) and unique things that are going on in the Twin Cities. This is one of those things…

In Eden Prairie, they have constructed an ice castle and they open up today for the next couple months! Yep…just like the ones you saw in Disney’s Frozen! In fact, they even have ice princesses who show up and sing and everything. Awesome right. Here is how you can get there!

Directions
From the East or the West: Exit Route 212 at Eden Prairie Road and go NORTH. Take the FIRST left onto E. Miller Parkway. Continue into the park, following the signs to the Ice Castle.

Here are some of the cool things going on at the ice castle…

Fabulous Food:
Dunn Brothers of Eden Prairie will offer select food and beverage options inside the Ice Castle. If you want to check them out in person, they are located right by the Ice Castle on Eden Prairie Road.

Ice Princesses: The ice princesses are there showing up. Here is their schedule! Monday-Friday: 2-6 p.m., Saturday: 12-6pm, Sunday: 2-6pm, Princess performances (singing) will be on Saturday only. Performance times will vary, but will be during the advertised 2-6pm time frame. Appearances are subject to change or be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.

Fire performances (because it is safe to have fire where there is ice right?) on the weekends! Their schedule is Friday and Saturday’s
Sundays of Holiday Weekends: January 17 & February 15, Time: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy a high energy fire show! They will amaze you with a versatile and unique show using many different manipulation props including fire breathing, spinning, hula
