St. Paul Rotary Club’s Red, White and BOOM!
Fireworks Celebration 2026

Agenda details and donation update unveiled
(Saint Paul, MN) Following the announcement that the Saint Paul Rotary Club would try to bring back community Fourth of July fireworks to the capital city after a ten-year absence, the local humanitarian service club has an announcement. The 2026 Red, White and BOOM! Fireworks Celebration fundraising surpassed the $120,000 mark this past weekend, and the membership feels confident it will reach its $125,000 goal by June 15th. The FREE Independence Day fireworks WILL BE HELD Saturday, July 4, from 6-10:30 p.m. in Cathedral Hill Park, the highest point in our capital city, 215 Summit Ave., Saint Paul, MN 55102. St. Paul Rotary Club members feel the warm embrace of community support for the Red, White and BOOM! Fireworks Celebration. At the time of this release, St. Paul Rotary has 169 individual donors who have given $24,662.14. Additionally, the Rotary Club raised another $95,507.54 from businesses and “High Flyer” donors. The event centers on celebrating our country’s 250th year of independence, learning about our history by honoring the people and events that have defined our nation's story, and bringing the community together.

“The response from the community since our initial announcement has been incredibly encouraging,” said Carolyn Will, member of the St. Paul Rotary Club and lead organizer of Red, White & BOOM! “People are excited to see public Fourth of July fireworks return to Saint Paul, and we’ve been thrilled by the enthusiasm and support we've received.” The event will include live patriotic music at the Cathedral of Saint Paul and historical elements that will connect this celebration to our nation’s 250th anniversary. “Rotarians have a mission to “Unite for Good,” and together, create a lasting impact. We hope this July Fourth will be one of those events, a truly memorable event for families and residents across our community,” said Will.
Anyone who donates $30 or more will receive a commemorative patriotic T-shirt. It features a unique design by Ezra Young, which also serves as the event's logo. Ezra is a product design major at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. He is also a descendant of Lewis Morris, who signed the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago.
