Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Minnesota Zoo September 26 – November 2
The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Minnesota Zoo is back, and it’s one of the most magical fall traditions in the Twin Cities. From September 26 through November 2, thousands of hand-carved pumpkins will light up the night with dazzling displays, music, and seasonal treats.
What to Expect
Walk through a glowing trail filled with more than 5,000 illuminated pumpkins carved into intricate designs and themed scenes. The path takes about 40–50 minutes to enjoy at your own pace and features lighting effects, fog, and music that set the perfect autumn mood.
Seasonal food and drinks will be available, from roasted turkey legs and walking tacos to sweet treats and warm beverages like hot chocolate. Dress for the weather, since the event runs rain or shine, and expect cool evenings. The trail is stroller- and wheelchair-friendly, though it does have some hills.
