Remember when ski resorts were the hippest places to be? I fondly recall an episode of Boy Meets World where Cory and the gang head up to a ski resort for a casual weekend getaway in the 90’s, and while there was a ton of drama (classic Cory and Topanga), everyone looked super cool in their matching jackets and snow pants. Now is the time to bring that back, folks! Head on up to Lutsen, MN for the first annual Ski Party! Presented by 89.3 The Current, the GNDWire Records Ski Party is bound to be an epic blast, right on the slopes of Minnesota’s very own Lutsen mountains.

The Ski Party is a weekend ski, snowboard and music festival taking place from Friday, January 29th through Sunday, January 31st. Some of the local bands featured include Har Mar Superstar, Haley Bonar, Charlie Parr, Astronautalis and John Mark Nelson. If you’ve been suffering from cabin fever, this is the perfect excuse to get away and outside.
Admission to the party is $15 in advance, $18 at the door, and $28 for a 2-day pass. Please note, this is a 21+ event.
