Tomorrow, Saturday the 20th, Northeast Minneapolis brings you the 2010 Northeast Holiday Boutique Crawl from noon to 5pm at various locations throughout the neighborhood. On hand will be carolers to put you in the holiday spirit, special deals for the savvy shopper, and giveaways for participants.
If you happen to check in at all of the full list of participating merchants, you get entered to win a Northeast Staycation, which includes a one night stay at Nicollet Island Inn, complimentary champagne from Surdyk’s, dinner for two to any participating Event Sponsor Restaurant in the neighborhood, and a gift basket full of gift certificates to lovely locally-owned shops. All things considered, a pretty nice prize package.

A veritable cornucopia of specials and savings will be featured at merchants throughout the day. For instance, get 20% off custom framing at Artistic Indulgence or 50% off all sunglasses, prescription or not, at Look and See Eyecare. How about a free gift and 20% off one regularly priced item, plus a free color consulting to the first 20 registrants at Key North Boutique? Eggnog, spiced hot apple drink and popcorn will be served there as well. Red Stag Supper Club will be offering free Wooden Nickel Drink Specials or a free espresso drink to warm you up, and you can score 20% off your total purchase at Parc Boutique.
When the afternoon is winding down, Horst and Friends Salon will be hosting an after event from 4-6pm. This special event includes complimentary wine, treats, and Destress Express Treatment.
