Laugh, Cheer, Spell! YPC Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in Minneapolis

Looking for a night of laughter, music, and fun this fall? Youth Performance Company (YPC) is kicking off their 2025–2026 season with the Tony Award-winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, running October 3–19, 2025 at The Conn Theatre in Minneapolis.

This fast-paced, laugh-out-loud comedy follows six quirky middle schoolers competing for the county spelling championship. As the competition heats up, audiences get a hilarious peek into each speller’s unique personality and heartfelt backstory. With witty wordplay, clever improv, and unexpected twists—including audience participation—this show celebrates individuality, growing up, and the small victories that make life sweet (yes, even if it’s just a juice box).
