Bacon is great, we all know that. Beer is great, too, that’s a proven fact. Nothing could possibly trump either of them, right? Wrong! The Bacon and Beer Classic is heading to the Twin Cities Saturday, September 12th, and it is going to be magnificent.
According to its website, the Bacon and Beer Classic is a “one-of-a-kind event” hosted inside iconic stadiums across the country. It is an experience focused solely on traditions where the nostalgia of cherished sports and pastimes meets one’s love for bacon and beer. Once you purchase tickets to get in the door, the experience is free. Yup, you heard me: free. That means you can eat all of the bacon, and drink all of the beer your heart desires. In other words, it’s an opportunity to bring out your inner Ron Swanson.
The Bacon and Beer Classic will be held at the Target Field in Minneapolis. There is a brunch session from 1-4PM, and an evening session from 7-10PM. Some of the restaurants participating in the event include Jake’s City Grille, Park Tavern, Buca di Beppo, Breaking Bread and Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge. A bevy of local breweries will be providing the beer, too, including Fulton, Sociable Cider Werks, Indeed Brewing Company, Brau Brothers Brewing Co. and more.
