Getting to the Fair: Free Shuttles & Express Bus Options

Free Park & Ride Shuttle Service

  • Where: Designated parking lots around the Twin Cities

  • When: Shuttles begin around 8 AM, run continuously throughout the day, and return until midnight. On Labor Day (Monday), return service ends at 9 PM.

  • Drop-off/Pick-up: Fair’s Transit Hub at Gate 16

Paid Express Buses – Convenient & Affordable

  • Metro Transit: Routes from Maple Grove, Blaine, Maplewood, Minnetonka, Bloomington, Cottage Grove

  • MVTA (South Metro): Services Eagan, Shakopee, Burnsville — weekends only

  • SouthWest Transit: Daily service from Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, and more

  • Cost: About $5–$6 round-trip; children 5 & under ride free
