Every September, Wayzata’s lakeside streets transform into a lively festival honoring railroad tycoon James J. Hill. James J. Hill Days returns September 5–7, 2025, bringing three days of fun, food, and festivities along the shores of Lake Minnetonka. This is one of the Twin Cities’ most beloved community celebrations, drawing more than 75,000 visitors each year.
