Film buffs rejoice! The Oscar Awards are coming this weekend, Sunday February 27th in Los Angeles. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has their work cut out for them as each year they nominate filmmakers, actors, and their works for these special awards. Then the panel of voters chooses the best of the best to receive the awards.
This year brought a bumper crop of great films for the panel to vote on. Ten films made the cut for nominations. You can watch them all in one sitting on Saturday February 26th at AMC Rosedale 14.
The 24-hour marathon kicks off Saturday morning at 10 and wraps up with the last film starting at 7:05am on Sunday. Tickets for the marathon can be ordered online for $50, or you can order a one-day pass that includes five movies.
