Mickey’s Dining Car, more commonly known as simply Mickey’s Diner, is something of an institution in St. Paul. Located in downtown, the diner is modeled after the railroad dining cars of the period. It was built in the Art Deco style of architecture and has been featured on several shows on the Food Network, including Unwrapped and Rachel Ray’s Tasty Travels. Scenes from several Hollywood movies were also filmed on location here. It features standard diner fare that’s a step above, free parking, and is open 24/7/365 and has been for almost 70 years.
