Before Girls Night Out became GNO, she wrote the anthem. Tonight at Mill City Nights in the Warehouse District, 1980s icon Cyndi Lauper will be performing her entire debut album, She’s So Unusual, which turns 30 years old this year. (Feel old yet, GenXers?) She’s spent the last 30 years winning Grammys, racking up hit songs, guest starring on television, on Broadway, and writing the music and lyrics for the hit Broadway musical, Kinky Boots, winner of six Tony Awards, but tonight she’s going old school, and you don’t want to miss it.
