Calling all dog lovers and families—Canterbury Park in Shakopee is hosting the cutest event of the summer: Corgi Races! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 17, 2025, when these lovable “wiggle butts” hit the track between thrilling live horse races.

First Post: 1:00 PM (racing starts mid-day following gates opening)

What You Can Expect at Corgi Day

• Live Horse Racing & Corgis: Watch heartwarming Corgis dash down the track between live horse race events—a delightful twist that keeps the energy high. Pepsi Family Day Fun: Alongside the races, enjoy $5 pony rides, face painting, a rainbow playground, kids crafts, and even a Kids Race the Track activity.

• Breed Championship Path: Meet the competitors—each winning Corgi could earn a finalist spot in the Best in Show Dog Day Championship on Labor Day Weekend (Sunday, Aug 31).
