Just a quick post today to let you all know about a fun thing that happens every Tuesday. Each week, the hippest of the hip convene and compete for coveted bling at the 331 club.

They call it Blingo.

This ain’t your grandmother’s Bingo. Unless she’s the rowdy type. These hipster types manage to make the squarest game known to man cool somehow.

Hosted by Ellie Blades, Blingo is your standard Bingo game for sure. But Ellie is not your standard monotone caller, and the prizes are not typical. Usually cash prizes are awarded at Bingo, which you’d think the hipster bunch would be keen on. But the flashy medallions, chalices, and other fun and shiny prizes are what the crowd really goes for.

Ellie makes sure you have fun. She even makes her own special playlists to bump during Blingo from 7 to 9pm. Come early for happy hour from 3 to 6pm and get $2.50 drink specials and stick around for the half price bottles of wine til 9. Then enjoy some live music after Blingo wraps up.

And if two hours isn’t enough Blingo for one week, Ellie does it again Thursday nights at the Triple Rock, and again Monday at the 501 Club.
