Eat Street is well-known among locals for having some good eats, but soon it will be adding rock climbing to its reputation. Yes, that’s right, rock climbing. On Saturday, November 12th (today) from 11am to 5pm, Vertical Endeavors will be having its Grand Opening in Minneapolis, offering 25,000 square feet of rock climbing walls for those looking to ‘get vertical.’

There will be FREE climbing the day of the event, music, food, shoe demos, raffles, a fundraiser, and more.

Previously, Vertical Endeavors (St. Paul location) was featured on 365 Twin Cities as the perfect rainy day activity (Read the original article: Rock Climbing at Vertical Endeavors). And with the snow that will inevitably fall in the near future, we wager that climbing a rock wall will be a great way to escape the cold, at least for a few hours. And now with a location conveniently located right in Minneapolis, rock climbing bliss is more accessible to many Twin Citians.

Minneapolis is about to get a little less vertically challenged! Rock climbing aficionados and novices alike are encouraged to check out Vertical Endeavors’ newest location on Eat Street in Minneapolis.
