Fall Festival on Main Street

Published on: 10/24/11 12:36 PM

Looking for a different way you and your family can celebrate Halloween this year? Look no further!

Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove is throwing a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 29th. Complete with door-to-door trick or treating at local stores, costume contest, pumpkin decorating, and art activities, the Fall Festival on Main Street is bound to be a real scream of a time.

The festivities begin at 9:30 AM and continue until 2:00 in the afternoon. Trick or treating from Main Street and on lasts for the entire time, but if you’re starting to feel a little chilled, the costume contest (located at the Maple Grove Arts Center) is a great way to warm up. Plus, as an extra bonus, CL!X Portrait Studio will be providing free photos during the contest—who can say no to that?

And while you’re at the Maple Grove Arts Center, you can support C.R.O.S.S Food Shelf (a nonprofit organization committed to serving families and individuals in times of need) by bringing a nonperishable food item to donate.

Get that creativity brewing, because the fun doesn’t stop there! Free pumpkins will be given out (while supplies last, of course) at 3 Squares Restaurant, as well as an invitation to decorate them on the spot too. So make sure the little artists you know get to 3 Squares Restaurant before all the pumpkins are gone!

So get that costume ready, grab pillowcases, bags, buckets, or anything you can to hold immense amounts of candy, and get down to Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove! This is a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with your family, as well as helping out local businesses.
