With so much to do in the Twin Cities, it’s nice that some of those things benefit other people, often those less fortunate or who lack opportunities and advantages that many of us take for granted.

This Saturday, February 19th The Varsity Theater presents Red Hot Party, a concert event that benefits Campfire USA Minnesota Council. The Red Hot Party was developed by a volunteer committee passionate about bringing awareness to local charities and inspiring young professionals to explore other ways to support their communities.

The event features the soulful stylings of local funk/reggae/pop/rock superstars Roster McCabe, up-and-coming folk/rock/reggae/hip hop artist Dustin Thomas, and the inimitable indie pop of Liz Akhavan. For more info on these artists, visit Red Hot Party’s Entertainment page.

Doors will open at 6pm and the party gets rolling at 7. Tickets can be obtained online and cost $35 or you can get them for $40 at the door as long as it doesn’t sell out. Valet Parking is available at the door for $8 as well.
